How is treatment planned?

Fixed braces work through brackets and wires, while aligners apply force through a sequence of fitted trays. Progress is reviewed at regular appointments and adjustments are made. Once the planned position is reached, retainers are made to help maintain it.

Aftercare and limitations

A retainer is usually needed afterwards to help maintain tooth position. Inadequate cleaning can lead to staining or decay. Discuss discomfort, limitations and risks before starting.

Your plan and quotation are determined after examination. Complexity, materials, preliminary treatment and follow-up visits affect timing and cost. Ask for a written plan explaining what is included.
